CCV has a great opportunity to travel to beautiful Fiji in the South Pacific islands to witness and work with a ministry that is serving women and their children who have been affected by sexual expoitation in their community and family. Homes of Hope is going to bless us as we serve alongside them.

Who can go?
We need servants willing to have long days on your feet. You'll be living life on the Homes of Hope campus, helping with construction projects, and working with the women and children in their daily agenda and lessons.
Each participant needs to be age 18+ and will be asked to attend CCV's Starting Point class (if you haven't already been) and submit a full volunteer application with background check, references, and interview. This will be initiated after you have signed up for the trip and is not an "application" indicating whether you can attend or not. They are purely steps in the preparation process. Each team member will also be required to attend all pre-trip preparation meetings.
TEAM MEETINGS: The team will be required to meet for minimum three team meetings for training- January 20, 11:30am-2:00pm, February 3, 11:30am-2:00pm, February 17, 11:30am-2:00pm. Team may meet for one or two additional meetings for more specific trip planning.
$2,200 per person includes plane tickets, lodging, insurance, and food while at Homes of Hope. This does not cover any additional costs for passports, shots, or meals during travel time.
$150 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration. If a cancellation is made after airline tickets have been purchased you will also be responsible for the cost of the airline ticket.
Miscellaneous Costs to expect during your stay: Grocery shopping and taxi rides and souvenir shopping.
Food and Lodging:
The Homes of Hope campus has a guesthouse that accommodates our team. There is a common area and common kitchen.
A Valid passport is required for all participants. Passport cannot expire within 6 months of the trip's return date and cannot be damaged in any way. Please visit travel.state.gov for up to date information and to apply or renew.
There are no shot requirements, but an updated Tetanus shot is Strongly Recommended for ALL trips. Please visit cdc.gov/travel for up to date recommendations for Fiji. Note: Fiji is a country on the Zika Virus list. If you are pregnant or in a family planning stage of your life, please consult your primary doctor before committing for this trip.

This registration process will take about 10-20 minutes to fill out. Please allow enough time to complete the whole process which will include requiring current passport information and medical insurance information.
A $300 deposit non-refundable per person is required with this registration.
**Please be advised: It is CCV policy that a Volunteer application and Background Screening must be passed by every participant on this trip. If you have any reason to believe you may not pass, please hold off on registering and placing your non-refundable deposit.
Terms and Conditions: By registering for this trip and paying the non-refundable deposit at this time, you are also committed to joining the team, attending the required team meetings, and paying the remainder of the cost of the trip before the trip's departure date. Failure to comply with these terms, completing the volunteer application process or attending the trainings gives CCV the freedom to ask you to not participate in the trip. The trip leader reserves the right to ask any participant to not participate if they feel the integrity of the trip is in jeopardy. If the trip participant backs out of the trip after airline tickets have been purchased in their name, they will still owe CCV for the cost of that ticket. If a participant is asked to end their trip early, they will travel home at their own cost.
