**Note: If you put yourself on the waiting list, be advised that parking spots for RV's and bunks in the bunkhouses are full at this time. Anyone additional that goes to Rocky Point will need to prepare to bring a tent to sleep in at basecamp.
There will be a Team Meeting for everyone going: Sunday morning, February 12, at 9am. This meeting will be simultaneously at Peoria campus, Surprise Campus, and Scottsdale Campus. . Please plan to attend the meeting that works the best for your location.

This trip is a partnership with 1Mission to come alongside families in Mexico who are building their own community up. We'll travel down for a weekend, work alongside them to construct a brand new home for a family. It's hard work, it's manual labor, it's mixing concrete by hand and hand sawing wall frames, but it's probably the most enjoyable hard work. You get to experience a family getting the keys to their brand new home and experiencing the joy of community.
Trip Dates: February 17-20, 2017. You decide what time on Friday to leave and head down there and you'll be home Monday evening.
COST: $250 per person age 18 and above, children 11 and under are free, and students (traveling with parent/guardian) age 12-17 are $90. Maximum per FAMILY is $750!
This fee covers building materials for the house, trip medical insurance, and meals/water while at 1Mission.
This fee does not cover your own transportation to Rocky Point and associated Mexican Auto Insurance.
No refunds will be issued for withdrawals from the trip after October 28 as these funds will already be distributed for building and accommodation costs.
WHO can come: Everyone! Families, Couples, Singles. This is a great trip for someone who has never been on a mission trip before, for families wanting to experience it together, and for parents who want to begin exposing their kids to a different culture! A good age is 5+ (at that age they can contribute and understand). Students attending need to be accompanied by a parent, no minors on this trip without parent/guardian.
LODGING: You will be staying at a clean and safe R.V park, the 1Mission basecamp that is about 8 miles outside of Rocky Point proper.
Facilities include a dining room, pool, bbq area, and showers.
Each participant is responsible for their own sleeping arrangements at Basecamp - Trailer, or sleeping Tent. We discourage trip participants from staying in Rocky Point at a hotel or other home. In order to get to full experience of the trip and be a part of the team, we ask everyone to stay at basecamp with the team.
Please note as of 12/25, there are NO MORE RV Spots, there is a wait list. Please plan on taking a tent or trailer that doesn't require hook ups or parking spot!
MEALS: All meals beginning Saturday breakfast through Monday breakfast are provided at basecamp and are included in the trip. The team in Mexico prepares hot meals for our team and it is buffet/family style. Friday dinner upon arrival is on your own and Monday lunch is on your own.
Each individual/family will coordinate transportation to/from Mexico themselves. CCV does not rent vans or take down people. Mexico Auto Insurance is needed and you're responsible to get it for your vehicle. You can get the insurance through your auto insurance provider or call Kirk Borg - AllState - 623-680-8909 firstname.lastname@example.org.
Teams will coordinate carpooling or caravanning as needed. Typically a team from a CCV campus will talk about when to meet up and drive down together. Teams leave anywhere from 7am to 5pm. We ask you try to arrive at basecamp early enough to set up camp and get dinner before the sun goes down. If you need help carpooling, indicate as much on your registration and the missions team will help match you with someone that can drive you.
PASSPORTS: U.S. citizens entering the United States at sea or land ports of entry are required to have documents that comply with the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI). For adults age 16 and up, this is a passport or passport card or other approved travel document. For children under 16 traveling with a parent, this can be a Birth Certificate (original or copy). Visit www.getyouhome.gov for up to date information and requirements. (This is different than the High School trip in October where age 19 and under could have a birth certificate. That is a special clause for groups of children. The November and February trips do not qualify as a group of children, so age 16 and up need an approved travel document as noted on www.getyouhome.gov).
