You will stay at a guesthouse in Kakata, Liberia that is the recommended stay by our mission partner. We will also eat the majority of our meals at the guesthouse. Team will be provided with bottled water.
Do I need to get any shots? Where can I get shots?
Please visit cdc.gov/travel for up to date vaccination requirements for your destination. Yellow Fever vaccination is required for entry to Liberia and proof of vaccination must be presented upon arrival. Zika virus is also present in Liberia. There are lots of great travel clinics in the valley to get your shots, so you can find one close and convenient for you. Please inquire soon as there has been a shortage of Yellow Fever Vaccines in the USA.
Do I need a Visa? How do I get it?
A visa is required for those who have a valid USA passport that doesn't require within 6 months. We will assist you in the paperwork, but check out THE INSTRUCTIONS. Visa requires payment of $160. We have taken $160 off the cost of the trip so that you can pay it directly.
