Testimonials

"Before I came to CCV to be in the Residency Program, I had never worked at a church. This program prepared me to step into full-time ministry in ways that I never knew I needed. The Leadership Institute cultivates an environment where you have hands-on training from some of the wisest leaders in the church while also creating a space to be challenged and empowered in our respective areas of ministry."

- Jacob Tobon, 2020 Residency

"CCV’s Leadership Institute is one of the best programs there is because of the practical hands-on experience. The LI team and your coaches give you leadership opportunities and responsibility in various areas, regardless of your background. They walk alongside you while also providing a safe place to fail. I now have experience in event management, volunteer development, and many transferable principles in-between. If you are looking for a residency program that will immerse you in all things ministry and provide you with firsthand experience, look no further."

- Emily Smith, 2020 Residency

"Completing the residency was an incredible experience for my wife and I. We had the opportunity to do it together, which gave us a better understanding of what ministry could look like as a team. Coming off a hard season of ministry, the residency reaffirmed my call as a leader. I was given coaching, leadership advice, and hands-on experience to be sent back out into the ministry field. At CCV, they effectively win people to Christ, train believers to become disciples, and send disciples to impact the world. CCV does exactly that not only for the members but for the residents as well."

- Kaleb Smith, 2020 Residency

"Before I came to CCV, I was a teacher with little to no ministry experience. The Residency Program gave me a chance to jump into full-time ministry while learning from some of the best in the business. The program gave me access to learn from the leaders in our church and gave me a chance to apply what I was learning in a hands-on way. The Leadership Institute also provided me with a chance to connect and build relationships with people from different backgrounds who are now working in churches all across the country. This program allowed me to live out God’s calling to work in the local church."

- Alexis Alhadeff, 2020 Residency
